Health & safety awareness training

The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 requires employers to provide adequate information, instruction, training and supervision to enable employees to carry out their work safely.
Because the actual content required depends on the type of work or business operation, we tailor our health and safety awareness training to suit your specific needs.

Course contents

The Risk Reports course explains the need for health and safety at work, and outlines the responsibilities of both employers and employees. It also provides information about key workplace hazards and how the risks are controlled. These include:

  • Safe use of equipment
  • Electrical safety
  • Manual handling
  • Slips, trips and falls

Training format

We deliver our health and safety awareness training using a PowerPoint presentation, with questions and answers encouraged throughout. The session typically lasts one hour and we suggest a maximum of 15 delegates.
All course participants receive a copy of the presentation, as well as a Workplace Health and Safety Guide Book and a course evaluation feedback form.

Can you afford to take the risk?
